I am delighted to announce that Gareth’s butchers, who I visited on Wednesday have now had two of their sausages certified as syn free.

Not only are they syn free (or is it sin free?) but they also taste fabulous like all their sausages!

While visiting Gareth’s butchers in Welwyn I did a brilliant interview with the humorous and charming Tim Wheeler who is the out and about reporter for the afternoon show.

The destination for my latest Sausage King Adventure was Gareth’s Butchers in Welywn. I first heard about Gareth’s Butchers via Twitter and then, based on recommendations, listed them on Sausagefans.com. From what people were saying about them I knew I had to visit them as soon as I got the chance.

I was counting down to Wednesday the 28th October and when the day finally came I took a leisurely ride down to Hertfordshire.

I was delighted to be invited by the Meat Trades Journal to join the panel of judges at this year’s Champion of Champions competition. Sausage makers who have won previous BPEX accredited competitions during the year are then invited to compete for the title of Champion of Champions.
