A record turnout at Jimmy’s Farm and great weather made it one of the best sausage competitions I’ve been involved in. I was joined by Jamie Willows (Head Butcher at Jimmy’s Farm), Tony Hadley (Brewer and Spandau Ballet chap) and Thane Prince (Chef and Food Writer). The quality of the sausages was excellent and this made the decision very hard.

I am delighted to have been asked to be part of the judging panel at Jimmy’s Farm Sausage and Beer Festival this weekend (29th and 30th August 2009). I’m joining Spandau Ballet front man Tony Hadley amongst other judges and I know I’m in for a treat.
